Oh blog, I really do love you!
I think I'm having a guilt trip after not writing for over a month! There are times when I think about giving it up but then something inside me tells me not to. Well, when you think about it, if I blog once every month, that's only 12 times in the entire year! I think I can commit to that :).Soooo I guess it's time for an update! I am officially on a facebook fast until August 25th which is when I write my MCAT. Studying has been...going. Kaplan course is done so now it's getting down to the nitty gritty! Speaking of studying, I'm going to MCAT Boot Camp next week! Yep! I'm going to Windsor to stay with a friend who's writing the same day as me. The schedule's pretty intense...like getting up at 6:30 and studying until 10:30 with only 3 half hour breaks in the whole day. I think she's a little insane but I definitely prefer studying with friends than by myself!
Good news is that I'm almost done the intro for my honours protocol! It's taken SO long and my supervisor was gone for most of July which was really tough. But she had a look at it the other day and said it looks great! YAY! The other good news is that she said I can take the next few weeks off to focus on studying. She's awesome. Only problem? I haven't quite gotten her approved yet to be my honours supervisor :S. I have to send her CV to the committee so I'm praying really hard that she'll be accepted!
Wow, I'm actually out of things to say! Whoever does read this, could you pray that my MCAT will go well? Even if it's just a short prayer...like right at this moment...you don't have to hold a prayer vigil or anything (although that would be awesome)...anyways, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! Can't promise any updates until September but I'll try to write a quick blurb after the MCAT to say I'm still alive :).

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving Bek a burning desire and interest to pursue the medical field. Not everyone has the physical, mental capacity and the heart to be a doctor. I thank You for giving tat to her. Father I pray tat You be with her everyday, help her to seek strenth from You Lord, plz give her strength and perseverence to endure the painful study period. Plz help her pass the exam if this is the right path You want her to pursue. Thank You Jesus, In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Wow, thanks so much Nancy - that was so encouraging! It's amazing that reading this has comforted and supported me in a way that a thousand "you'll do fine"s could never do. It's also a good reminder for me to stay close to Christ in this time even though it can be tempting to study!
